I produced, filmed and edited videos about the three-day Market Street Prototyping Festival in downtown San Francisco. I captured moments within the 2 miles, 5 neighborhoods and 50 miles of this public space happening. The MSPF short was used as the campaign video for the Google Impact Challenge, which helped secure a $250,000 grant to continue the festival. I also partnered with KQED to supply additional footage. It was a delight to work with my clients Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco Planning Department, and Knight Foundation on this series.
Pavement to Parks
Pavement to Parks at SF Planning Department commissioned me to produce a series of videos about the parklets and plazas in the city. Working with a small production crew, the series took me from Outerlands in Outer Sunset to Four Barrel Coffee in the Mission. According to Pavement to Parks, San Francisco’s streets and public rights-of-way make up 25% of the city’s land area; more space than all the public parks combined. P2P is on a mission to make more public space for the community. Check out more from the awesome team at Pavement to Parks.

I produced Saha wa Hanadi (Toast to Good Health with Hanadi) - Season 1 for Qatar TV. Each episode our host, Hanadi, was welcomed by two or more guests to explore their culture through food. This was a multi-location TV series that included everything from getting tips about Indian spices with comedian Mohana Rajakumar, exploring the high seas on a fishing boat and learning from a French Michelin-starred chef about how to cook traditional Qatari food with a twist.
