About

Jacqwi Campbell is a Creative Director and Producer living in Oakland, CA. Raised as a child in Natchez, Mississippi, she spent her teen years in Portland, Oregon. Living between these two worlds, she became fascinated with identity through the lens of place and self-expression.

Her work focuses on telling stories about art, culture, and underrepresented communities. After grad school, she lived in Bahrain as a Fulbright Fellow and later worked as a TV Producer in Qatar. She’s used her passion for telling visual stories to produce content for several clients and brands, including BBC, Monocle, Instagram, Airbnb, and others. She works at Abbott as a Senior Manager for Content and Social Media, Global Strategic Marketing (Libre).

In her spare time, she’s the Head of Photo and Video for Black Joy Parade. You can find her hiking with her dog Foxy, watching indie films in local movie theatres in Oakland, or exploring live music.
